| DivX has made an announcement that Sony Pictures Television will be producing high quality, secure DivX content for download-to-own to the PS3 and other DivX certified players. |  |
They also said that they have no plans to release any content that would be compatible with the Xbox 360.

Sony’s move to produce HD DivX content for download and own will fit well with home media streaming hardware like the D-Link DSM-330 or their Sony Playstation 3. The D-Link DSM-330, when released later this quarter,will give direct access to DivX’s Stage6 service. |
