PlayStation 3 Firmware 2.60 Out Now

Besides adding support for DivX 3.11 video clips, the new firmware update will also let PS3 owners browse the PlayStation Network Store without having to enter log-in information.

After the 2.60 firmware has been installed, players will also be able to download a “Photo Gallery” application. The application offers a host of sorting and minor editing tools to better aid PlayStation 3 devotees in displaying their images via Sony’s console.
