Video captured for test of zoom on the Canon PowerShot SX60 HS digital camera to show the quality. Make sure you view the video with the HD 1080 settings turned on to get the correct image quality. The tall building is about 20 miles away. The video test footage was taken with and without a tripod. The Canon PowerShot SX60 HS has a 65x optical zoom and a 4x digital zoom resulting in a 260x total zoom. The SX60 was set to video auto mode at 1080 60fps for all scene captures made.
