The 5 year old girl and her 8 year old sister were playing on the back deck of their grandfather’s home on Lake Wylie in South Carolina Friday late afternoon. The younger girl stood up on a chair near the edge of the deck to keep her sister from taking away her prized Webkinz pet frog. In the struggle for the Webkinz the 5 year old was pushed over the edge.

The large home on the lake is 4 stories tall at the back of the house. The paramedics estimated her fall at 25 ft. When they arrived the girl was lying unconscious in a large grass hedge on her side. The adults present did not remove her in fear of worsening her injuries.

As soon as the medical team tried to move her she became conscious and started to cry. The 5 year old was released from the local hospital with only bruising and a few grass cuts but she had no major injuries.

Today is Tuesday which is my trash pickup day. On these days she is at her lazy peak. Since she is too lazy to get out of her mail truck she will push my trash can for up to 5 feet to be able to reach the mailbox. Often nearly tipping it over and she has already broken one of my wheels causing me to have it replaced.

I would place the can in another location if possible to save it from my lazy mail carrier but I can’t because of space issues.I have tried to talk to her but her phone seems to be surgically attached to her ear and she doesn’t here my cries for her to stop.

I hate to piss her off just before Christmas because she might take it out on my packages. Thanks for listening to me vent.

Update: The local post master got wind of this photo and came to my house and personally apologized for the driver. I told him that I wasn’t mad at the driver and in no way wanted to get her in trouble.

He did say that the route was a walking only route. They are required to park at the end of the street and walk it down and back. She should never drive it on any occasion and has been taken off my route. He said the placement of the trash can was just fine and the only way that she should skip it is if it was leaning against the door of the mailbox.

He told me that driving on the sidewalk like in the photo is prohibited and talking on the phone while driving is even more dangerous. She had already be written up for talking on the phone in the past and that was going to lead to a position change that he wouldn’t comment on any farther.

In Alabama they come down hard on girls destroying your porn. Gina Carano of Birmingham, Alabama spent a few minutes checking out her boyfriend’s iPod while he was in the shower. After a few minutes of of shuffling through it, she found a video of her boyfriend and another girl having a little bedroom romp. Carano, in a fit of rage, stomped the iPod on the floor and then flushed it down the toilet.

Carano went to her boy friend who was still in the shower, slapped his face and told him what she had done. She told him that she had had enough and would never see him again. At least she thought she would never see him again. Two hours later the police came to her house and arrested her for assault and destroying private property.

As it turns out the roommate of the man assaulted called the police and reported the crime. When the police arrived at the house of the boyfriend agreed to press assault charges after the police found scratches on his face and bruising from the slap.As it turns out it’s not Carano’s first arrest for assault and she now faces up to a year in prison for the crime.

Mark Pickins had been training at the Greenville S.C. Circuit City for three weeks. One of the car audio installers that had worked there for quit a while was helping Pickins install an amplifier in a SUV. They were having to put in two capacitors to keep the high powered stereo system from losing power at near peak volume.

When working with capacitors you have to pre-charge it to keep too much power from being pulled from your battery at first. It will burn up wiring if you just hook them to the battery without first slowly charging them from another source. A third employee had brought the two capacitors over to the SUV that they were installing them on.

Apparently a capacitor has the ability to be discharged and then will somehow regain its power after sitting for a bit of time. Pickins did not know this but his co-workers did. They just didn’t expect it to be that strong. The capacitor burnt his tongue enough for a trip to the ER and led to the firing of his co-workers.

While my neighbor Rick was shaving Friday morning his instant messaging alert was beeping like crazy. In his haste to find out what everyone was wanting at the same time he left his shaving razor on the bathroom counter. Big mistake because his 3 year old daughter was watching him shave from the bedroom.

When Rick returned to finish shaving he noticed long hair lying all over the bedroom floor but couldn’t figure out what it was from. He walked into the bathroom and his razor was missing. After seeing all of the hair he began to panic. Rick said he started yelling for his daughter but she never would answer.
