Nothing makes a young man more proud than the modifications and time that they put into their cars. After this Polish team finished adding dual steering and turning the body of the car around to face the other way they headed out for a test drive.

With there friends following with video camera in hand the two drivers take to the busy roads about town. Road drivers seeing the approaching backwards driven car pull off to the side as the speedy odd vehicle flies by.

Tuesday night Loveland police received a call that an unconscious woman was laying in someone’s driveway and could they come and remove her. When police arrived they found the woman sitting on a brick fence near the home they were called to. The woman told police that she had tracked her boyfriend to the house using her daughter’s GPS phone that she had hidden under his seat. When she knocked on the door a lady jumped her and started beating her up and thats the last thing she remembers until she woke in the driveway.

The officers went to the house that they received the call from and found the boyfriend still at the location with Trish Perry, who admitted attacking the woman. Perry and the woman’s boyfriend Will Proctor were both charged in the attack.

The injured woman was taken to a nearby Fort Collins Hospital for evaluation.

The men are both retired Insurance salesman and were looking for an exciting hobby. Jim Mason and friend Danny Radson discovered that their other common interest after retiring was going to gentleman’s clubs. Mason talked Radson into investing in the new idea and now as far as they know are the only insurance / men’s club in the state.

Mason says they will allow anyone over the age of 21 into their club for free if the first sit down for 15 minute in there office and get a free auto insurance quote.

Mason said “we have already sold 23 new policy’s in the first two weeks of being open. I have been very happy with the number of people willing to come in and get a insurance quote”. If they don’t want to talk about insurance they are still very welcome to come on down to see the girls. I love my new job added Radson.

I don’t blame them for loving their new semi-retirement jobs. What 50+ year old men don’t like being surrounded by 25 year old beautiful women.

Alan Pike was at the zoo Sunday with his family. “I stopped to watch the elephants with my daughter. When I picked her up so she could see over the fence better, my new phone fell out of my pocket and the elephant quickly reached out and picked it up. I though he would just drop it on the ground but he put it in his mouth and reached out towards us like he wanted another”.

“I told the zoo keepers what had happened but they didn’t seem to concerned. They said that it would probably show up in a few days and if I wanted to leave my number they would call me back . The keeper even asked what kind of phone it was as if they find them in the elephant poop all the time”.

“When I told him it was a LG Chocolate, he though I was joking and just walked away”, said Pike.

Linda Griffin received a frighting phone call last week from someone who claimed to be watching her. Before she listened to the man any longer she hung up on him thinking it was just a prank. The next night he called back. She wasn’t as frightened this time as she was mad. Griffin, playing along with the man, asked him if he was really watching her, then what was she wearing. When the man described her night shirt exactly she panicked and called her neighbor to come over and spend the night.

Griffin said: “I just couldn’t figure out how he knew what I was wearing. I am in a third floor apartment and I have shades and curtains that block anyone from seeing into my windows”. She called her local police to report the frighting call and try and get some help. Griffin said the police wouldn’t even come out to her home and she filed the report over the phone.

“Almost a week passed without the man calling back so I wasn’t worrying about it anymore”, said Griffin. That changed the next day when she came home to find her laptop background to now show a picture of herself siting in front of her computer. Thinking that the man was inside her apartment she ran next door to her neighbors and called the police.

The police came and searched the apartment and discovered nothing. After going over what had happened the police figured out that the picture on her laptop had come from the built-in webcam on Griffin’s computer. Never having added any type of virus control on her computer, had allowed the person to access Griffins webcam and he had been watching her for what could have been weeks without her knowledge.

Though this has happed in the past it is now rare with most people using virus control and firewalls to deny outside access to you computer. Officers told her that as long as she is connected to the internet all it takes is for the right Trojan to get through and it could happen again.

Griffin said she plans on leaving a piece of tape over the eye of the webcam and investing some new virus software before going back online.

The term commonly used for that variety of motion sickness has been called “simulator sickness,” and even though a few studies have tried to determine its cause, nobody is quite sure why it happens.

It doesn’t just affect gamers. A 1995 report by the U.S. Army Research Institute discovered that nearly half the military pilots who used flight simulators developed this aftereffect. Ten percent of those studied had symptoms lasting over four hours.

Simulator sickness tends to occur when there is a argument in the brain between what you’re seeing and what your inner ear says is actually happening. One theory about motion sickness is that because the area postrema portion of the brain associates the visual and balance discrepancy with hallucination. When you see things that aren’t there it is often a sign of poison in the body which is why some people vomit after riding in the back seat of a car for too long.

What will remedy this sick feeling ? You can try sitting farther away from the screen so that it doesn’t fill the majority of your field of vision. Also, repetition often helps you get over it. After enough exposure to dizzying graphical motions, your brain learns that you don’t die from poison every time you play a first-person shooter, and eventuality you may be able to play your new Halo game comfortably.

A 24-year-old undergraduate student in northern Nigeria, builds his own helicopters from the old parts off of cars and motorcycles in the back yard at home.

The copter has been flown on 6 occasions, is made from scrap aluminium that Abdullahi (The builder) bought with the money he makes from computer and mobile phone repairs, and a monetary gift from his father, who teaches at Kano’s Bayero university.

The Helicopter is powered by a used 130 horsepower Honda Civic car engine and fitted with seats from an old Toyota car. The rest of the parts come from the remains of a Boeing 747 which crashed near Kano years ago.

This is a rather big aircraft, it has four seats and it is 25 feet long. It has never gotten more than 15 feet off the ground. The cockpit includes a push-button ignition, an accelerator lever between the seats which controls vertical thrust and a joystick that provides balance and bearing.

The Vet gave the dog one teaspoon of Syrup of Ipecac and shortly there after the Lab started vomiting up the contents of his stomach. As expected up came the remote but it was just chunks of the remote. The dog had chewed the remote into little pieces and that wasn’t the mass in the X-ray.

“The Vet started massaging the dogs belly and it just came flying out of the dog,” said Marie Becknell. I knew what it was right away by the color and shape of it. It was my son’s video game remote. The dog had swallowed the boy’s Nintendo Wii remote controller.

“The dog spent the night at the Vet and boy’s punishment for leaving the controller out was two weeks allowance to replace the Wii remote” , said Mrs. Becknell. The dog was fine but the remote had to be tossed.

A 9 year old was thrown out of the back of her moving school bus after a struggle with another student on their trip home. Soon after the 9 year old pulled the DS Lite from her book bag it was taken by a 13 year old boy who ran to the back of the bus with it. When the girl tried to retrieve it the two began struggling for it in the back seat.

Reports released by the Pima County School Superintendent in Arizona said the older child was being beaten in the face repeatedly and felt his only escape was to open the buses rear emergency door and jump out. The child instead shoved the young girl out of the door with the bus traveling at approximately 15 mph. The girl was bruised and scraped up but had no major injures from the fall.

The boy has been temporarily suspended from their school and has the chance of being permanently expelled pending further investigation by the school board.
