If video quality is the most important feature for you in a phone, the differences are very telling. The Note 8 has much better dynamic range, better stabilization, clearer audio, and overall, much higher quality and more detailed files. The iPhone 8 plus produces footage that looks less detailed and slightly “murky” and the sky also has overexpose section in a great deal of the footage due to the lower dynamic range. The iPhone 8 Plus does, however, give you the option to shoot 4k at 60fps, footage will look much smoother than the Note 8 when played back.
The Note 8’s images look significantly sharper and actually has better colors compared to the iPhone. Also you can edit background blur after the image has been take with the Note 8 and not the iPhone 8 Plus.
