I set all the settings as you said and they worked perfectly! There is a little bit of noise when the video first starts, but after that, its all good. I still have one problem. I am converting a .mkv to mp4 with handbrake, but the problem is, is that the language on the .mkv is Japanese with English subtitles. On the converted file, the sound is great, but there is no subtitles. Any ideas?

Klink: Handbrake doesn’t do soft subs. Sorry.

New here. Got a question about this new kitten. Well, actually Ms. Boots had five kittens.

My wife gave all except one of them away. According to her she names it., I say I do because I clean out the liter box. haha

It is male, not sure that matters, but any suggestions on good websites to find cat names?

We bought this same DVD player about a year ago and it’s held up quite well to our two year old ‘testing it out’ on numerous occasions. It does play all kinds of formats. Don’t you think 6 years IS actually a long time for it to work for you? Just a thought. I mean, it was only 40 bucks.

Whenever I try to run Handbreak 9.3 on mp4 movies downloaded, I get a exception stackdump and it crashes.

Any ideas?

Klink: usually a bad install. possible error in the download or install will cause that.
