I know each one carries a mono signal. But I still don’t know the reason why this started in the first place. Years ago the airlines pumped music through air tubes to each seat. How did this evolve into the two plug system. Some airline now have adapted to the more standard single jack.

It would be great if someone could give us a few more answers. Please feel free to comment. Thanks.

Bringing a scanner to a NASCAR race will let you hear the drivers, race crew and spotters talk to each other during the race. You can also listen to NASCAR officials or even the radio broadcast. Most scanners will let you listen to some teams and crew but you need to look for more frequencys than the basic to hear them all.

The 400-500 frequency range will cover most Nextel drivers but other races use the 800 range. Also having at least 200 savable channels will let you save Nextel and Bush drivers without reprogaming during the race weekend.

Though still in beta, Wal-mart launches a new video downloads service hoping to capitalize on the new trend toward convenience and speed.

Wal-mart already accounts for 40% of all U.S. DVD sales and now will offer about 3,000 movies and TV shows to buy and download, including such hits as Mission Impossible III, Sony’s The Da Vinci Code ,Warner Bros.’ Superman Returns. and Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.

On the same day they come out on DVD, new releases will be available at www.walmart.com/videodownloads and will cost up to $19.88. Older films will sell for up to $9.88.

The day after they air on TV episodes will be available for $1.96 . Networks already signed on include Comedy Central,Fox, CW and Viacom’s Nickelodeon, MTV, and VH1.

It will take about 45 minutes to download a typical movie Using a high-speed connection with what Wal-Mart calls “near-DVD” video and audio but won’t come with added features typically found on DVDs.

Wal-Mart downloads will work with Windows XP or Vista and Internet Explorer and to some portable devices using Microsoft’s digital rights system. They won’t work with a Mac or Linux or even with iPods. The downloads can be backed up three times, including to a DVD, but the DVD won’t play in a standard DVD player.

So far www.walmart.com/videodownloads does not offer Mozilla Firefox support.

FORT MILL, S.C.–A 12yr. old boy uses his new Christmas present to get upskirt video of mother’s co-workers.

Boy reportedly took his new remote control Spy Video Car that comes with an on board video camera to mother’s office to have something to keep himself occupied while mom finished up some work. Police were later called when women workers realize the boy was looking up there skirts.

Most thought nothing of the car until one lady noticed his repeated driving trips under their desks. When she asked the boy about it he replied that she needs a new pair of underwear.

She was so shocked by his response she said she did not know what else to do but call local police. The mother of the boy was not apologetic at all she said. She just turned to me and asked me if I really did need a new pair!!
